I shot the K9 (older dovetail model, I believe), for the first time and at 20 to 30 feet or so, it is shooting way low; probably five inches low. I first put the top of the front sight, on the middle of the bullseye, and even tried putting the dot, (which is below the front sight a little) on the center ring, and it still was way low.
Tried 100gr., 115gr., 124gr., and 147gr. fmj, and even the 147 didn't bring it up much, if I remember. I have some 158gr. fmj Fiocchi, which shoots way high on most guns I've used it in, but didn't have any with me.
Are there any viable front or rear sight options, that can help me out?
Maybe it's just me, and my hold.

Regardless, when I have more time, I will try again, and have someone else try shooting it and see how it shoots for them.
I'd say practice more. My sister had the same problem till she got a few hundred down the pipe and quit trying to counter the recoil. Try a ball and dummy drill and see how bad you're pushing (or not) and got from there.

I'm going to try again soon. The gun seemed more controllable than any compact 9mm I've ever shot. I really like the heft, size, grip and feel of the K9.
Overall, I did have a little problem with windage, but I pulled shots a little both ways, but most were pretty near center. I might try to purchase an inexpensive pistol rest and try that also. If the shots continue low, though, I will have to contact the company to see what sight options are available, because the shots were all really low.
Sounds like a plan. I love my K9; it's my daily carry in the States but before that I tried Beretta 92's to Glock 19 to 1911 to whatever. When I settled on the K9 (an early carbon steel model) I did some light custom mods such as checkering, night sights, LIGHT de-horn and I slicked up the action a little. When that was done I sent it for matte hard chrome and bought about 6 high quality holsters for it. All that said, going from my work G19 back to the Kahr still takes some getting used to and occasionally I'll find myself doing all kinds of weird shit like pushing left, jerking, heeling the gun. I always run about 100 or so rounds through it when I get back before I carry just to get the bugs out but after I un-fuck myself I'm 100% confident in the gun and I wouldn't trade it.
