This is a Surplus (USED) CZ 75 DOUBLE ACTION semi automatic handgun (9mm)

Price includes shipping via USPS only. We can ship UPS or Fed Ex NEXT DAY AIR but you will be responsible for paying the shipping if you choose either of these options.

These pistols do show some wear (see images) around the edges that will not affect the performance, they come with one 15 round high cap magazine. Overall condition is Good. Strong rifling in the bores.

CZ-75 is a short recoil operated, locked breech pistol. It uses a fairy standard Browning locking system, with cam-shaped cut below the barrel, which lowers the barrel on recoil stroke. Barrel locks into slide with two locking lugs, located just ahead of the ejection port. The slide rides on the internal rails, machined on inside of the frame. This system, originated by the Swiss SIG P210 pistol, provides more smooth cycle and better tolerances, resulting in greater accuracy. In basic models, the double action trigger system with exposed hammer has a frame mounted manual safety, which allows for "cocked and locked" carry.

NO C&R SALES !!!

FFL Dealer Sales Only. Not for sale in CA, NY & HI or anyother state which has high capacity magazine restrictions.

ALL BATFE RULES APPLY !

Manufacturer: Other
Stock Number: CZ75
Inventory Status: IN STOCK
Price: $349.00 each

I'm sure these are police trade-ins, wonder from where? Anyhow, I have one on order, it will be my first 75. I have two other CZs, a 50 & 82 so I'm really looking forward to this 75. Can everybody mutter "Hope Ruxpin gets a good one?" I hate ordering on the blind but I have done a lot of business with Widener's through the years and never had any qualms.

I see where CZ-USA has pre-B magazines at grab your shorts prices ($43 ea.). Ouch.

you have to keep this in mind. THEY ARE TRADE INs! If you want NIB/LNIB i would think youre going to be unhappy. CDNN had some a couple years ago and iirc the condition varied also there were some surprises in that lot too.

if you orded it, you can do anything now. just wait until you get it and let the ammo tell you how well you did.

also, why fret about the price of mags? you dont have the gun in your hands and so you cant even tell if 75B or MecGars will fit. My 75s may or maynot take a 75b or MecGar mag. but so far i have had good luck with the 16+ round mags.

I stated they were trade ins, the ad states they are trade ins, I'm quite certain a NIB Pre-B 75 would be out of my price range. Hell, even a NIB 75B is out of my price range these days of cash and carry, besides, I really dis-like the looks of squared off trigger guards. These are Pre-B 75s, only Pre-B mags will fit. Pre-B magazines are expensive, I knew that going in but still $43 a pop is high. I like ex-police handguns (if that is what these are), have three already and looking forward to this one.

I ordered one off Robertson's trading post on Gunbroker, same price. 1992 model. A little finish wear and the grips were beat up but overall not bad. It does accept the Mec Gar mags too. I'd buy another one.

Cool, thanks for the post. Interesting about the Mec Gar magazines, I was led to believe otherwise. Hopefully I am wrong in my post as the Mec Gar magazines are quite a bit cheaper.

Yes I second for photos if you have them.

Pixs of my 75 from robertsons trading on GB, something like 382.00 delivered with three factory mags. I have run about 200 rds of factory thru it, one mag had a bent feed lip and would not feed till I bent it back. Gun runs 100% with all mags and is very accurate. It does have a very narrow blade/notch sight affair which is great for precision slow fire. Not so much for fast target alignment.
I beat the crap out of our 25,50 and 80 yard gongs off a rest. Single action trigger is not great, but the DA is pretty good.
These are Czec police turn ins, in fair/good condition. Great buy for a pre-B

from the way some of the poeple on here say that the price isnt that great and they can get them locally, i would say you may want to contact those people and get one from them.

These are Pre-B 75s, only Pre-B mags will fit.

BULL SHIT! again, you dont even have the gun in your hands so you cant say either way. I have Pre Bs and they may or may not take B mags. You have to TRY EACH ONE TO VERIFY!. Also, my 4 SP01 mags fit my pre Bs.

Yes, the Pre-B mags are expensive, somewhat, but not so much you can afford to buy one IF needed. Heck you should count yourself lucky to be able to find one if you want.

The original mags were only 20.00 ea with the gun. I have never seen pre B 75s this low and I have been looking for 2 years.
Robertsons also has a good layaway plan. Buy the freaking thing

I have a total of three Pre B guns. Two from this Wideners buy and another one. Every one of them will work with the MecGar magazines.

I think these Wideners/Robertsons guns are EXCELLENT values. I prefer the pre B over the B and $350 is cheap any way you look at it.

Everyone on the fence should just buy one. You'll kick yourself in the ass a couple of years from now if you don't.

I asked cz usa and they said no not without slide work and some other mods. sounds like why take a chance and wreck your gun.

Mine arrived at the dealer's today and he said it looks nice, all matching, dated 1987, mirror bore. Can't pick it up until Saturday though. Thanks everyone for the education and photos.

Mine looks pretty good, but the trigger will not reset with the mag in. Looks like it is rubbing on the side of the mag. Anyone know how to fix this?

Is the mag possibly out of spec/wrong mag? I don't have my CZ nearby right now, but I'm having a hard time imagining a good mag doing this.

The mag looks good to me. You can see some scuffing on the left hand side, and feel the trigger catching on something. Shoots a bit low, but other than that, runs great.

Is this only happening with one mag?

I really like the Pre-B trigger guard so much better than the current one.

I haven't got any new ones yet, just the used one that came with it. I'm going to try a different mag before I do anything else.

It works fine without the mag in it

Photos at http://public.fotki.com/theoxrojo/cz75/.

I'm quite pleased, fits the hand well and has a very very sweet double action, single is also very nice. Pistol is dated '87, has a mirror bore, I feel very minor wear for a 24 year old enameled finished pistol as photos will attest. This was from Widener's, $350 shipped.

The white stuff is snow that's starting to spit, we're to get just another 3-5 inches.

What is the deal with the magazines?

These old ones take a different mag than the new CZ-75B's ? ? ? ?

Can the new MECGAR mags be modified to fit these old ones ?

thanks

for some reason, the Pre B 75s have a different size mag well. SOME current mfg mags MAY fit, but they will have to be tried. No guarantee either, they must be TRIED. so far the ONLY current mags that have 100% fit are the 18/19 round mags, but i have only tried 4. you can figure out the odds.

afa modding the MecGars, i havent even looked into it since i have many MecGars and CZ 75/85 mags so i can try at will and mark/ID the ones that fit.

Got a new mag for mine and it works great. Guess there was something wrong with the used one that came with it.

Picked up a Pro Mag(I know, I know...) "CZ-A1" 16 rd. Sticks out about 1/8 of an inch at the bottom, but it seems to feed and fit fine. Going to the range today to see how it works.

I'm glad you got your 75 figured out. I haven't hit the range with mine but would also love to purchase another. This has the sweetest single and double action in my stable and as if I needed another reason, my wife is trying her best to claim this 75 as hers.

That's where I got mine. Had more finish wear than the one in this thread but no biggie. Looks to be shot little. By the way Mec Gars work in these 1992 CZ's. Cheap from CDNN.

I bought a couple of these pistols. MOST did take the Mec Gars, the last one I got would not take them unfortunately. Now, I am looking at getting the magwell cut for the Mec Gars. I'm kinda bummed about it but that's the way it goes.

That is just strange. If they are all '92's why would they vary?

Yea, that's the funny thing, after I got the first one and saw it was good to go I ordered another, it was good too. Got this last one, same '92 stamp as the other two and it won't take the MecGars. I dunno why other than the mag well is just a little different at the top rear. I'm going to have a smith look at it and see what can be done.

We have a new item, the original ones with magazines are a different item.

Mec-Gar Magazines do not fit into these, you will have to beat the magazine out of it if you try.
Choices are
Original Mags
or
We suggest a good smith

Sorry guys, we have no original mags.

Theres some good deals out there right now, eventually this stuff will all sell out as history has proven.

I snagged one. You can't go wrong with that price shipped. That is a steal, seriously.

I have 6 mags for my other pre-B so I'm good for mags. Will try to remember to post pics when it comes.

Put some transfer color (re grease works well) lightly on the mag, slide it in as far as it will go, pull it out, note where the color rubbed off inside the mag well, and relieve those spots with a file. Repeat until the mags slide home.
