Is it ok to wipe down a cz75 poly coat with break free clp?
I have been using clp to wipe down or oil the outside of my gun after cleaning or handling, but was wondering if it is ok to use on the poly coat. The manual says to wipe down after use or before storing with a gun oil. I got thinking if poly-coat is paint maybe I shouldn't use it. Thanks
It will be fine. I'm sure I've wiped down some of my polycoat 75s with CLP in the past with no issues. That polycoat finish is pretty tough, and CLP isn't really abrasive.
CLP is a Cleaner, Lubricant, and Protector. I have 7 CZ products, all with the Polycoat finish, and have been using it for 9 years without any evidence of damage. In fact, I use CLP on all my firearms, pistols and rifles both, and with a wide variety of finishes. No issues noted.

You have no idea how tough that finish is.

I've been using CLP on all 4 CZ's I own and never had an issue with the finish.
...even brake cleaner won't affect the finish.
