To sell or not to sell.....

I have a CZ82. Had it for a couple years now. Never had problems with it running any brands of ammo. accurate, reliable. the finish is getting pretty worn but other than the minor cosmetic flaws the gun is fine.

They offered $250 for it. Considering you CAN find these for less i guess thats not bad

If they were easier to pick up in my area i wouldnt be so torn on getting rid of it. The only reason im even considering selling is for quite some time now i have been looking for something a tad more compact for concealed carry. Being a petite lady i dont really have too many options, and having money to put toward a potential new buy would be great.

I just dont want to sell this awesome little gun and regret it later. Any input? What says this hive?

Unless you buy really shitty guns, eventually you will regret every one you ever sell.

Dont do it. Walking Dead my EDC is the CZ82 model 1985, it is a great gun. In my opinion, I would say get a Kel Tec P11 to switch off with, but getting rid of the CZ82 is not something I would do. And it is by no means shitty. It is up to par with any standard modern handgun. I outshot a few of my brothers friends who all had glocks, and my brother even shot better with it that with his glock. Please dont sell the CZ82. It is such a fine weapon, it is accurate, reliable, and easily maintained. It is the AK47 of handguns.

I promise you will regret it. The man making me a custom holster for my said he did the same and got a glock...He regrets it. If anything, get a supplementary firearm but dont sell the CZ82. My gosh, it is such a fine weapon. If for nothing else, make it a home defense gun.

Not really all that true. AIM Surplus just ran out a month or so ago, and CA is low on stock, so is JG. They are popular. If she got offered $250 for it, someone is getting desparate. CDNN used to have them at 180.

This. One time i even saw one for $170. That was awhile ago.

I decided not to sell I am instead awaiting the arrival of a S&W M&P9. Also considering getting the M&P9c for my everyday concealer. We'll see.

I got this for such a good deal i dont even want to share the price because you wont belive me

You're right. I love this little gun. I always have. not only that but i have the "my first handgun" attachment to it. I plan to keep it, take good care of it, get the finish redone and someday hand it down to my son.

I have a CZ 82, and a Makarov. I'm not the guy who thinks any gun I own is the cats ass simply because I own it. I know my guns well and I know their limitations. Anyone who thinks a 9x18 can compare in performance to a 9x19 is delusional. I've seen your posts on the subject, and you are that guy.

Lol, I am not delusional. I just know how to shoot. Im sure you have every gun that you can say you have over a computer. Look, I have put nearly 2500 rounds through my CZ82 and have seen it effectively stand up with a 9mm Luger. if you use Hornady XTP or Cor Bon ammunition, you can get results of 1100-1200 FPS, and with pow r ball you can get puncture that stands up with the best of 9mm luger. Im not saying that this smaller bullet is better than the bigger bullet. Im saying that it can hold its own, it is a fine weapon, and there is hardly a 9mm that can put this handgun down. To implicate that the CZ82 is not quality...well...the only person who bashes a fine weapons policy is one whose skill lacks quality. I question your ability to shoot. I also question your ownership of a CZ82.

I think you lie, and I think you are a flag waving, my gun is the cats ass person. For you to say 9x18 cannot compete with 9x19, and I am not saying prove to be superior, I merely say compare and compete, then you are ignorant of the weapon and its limitations. I went toe to toe with Glock .40 cals. I think you just cannot shoot.

I insist this weapon is a fine piece of machinery. I own a Bersa Thunder .380 CCW model, several revolvers in .32, .36, and .22magnum, have a .45 Kimber Carry, and a Glock .40 at my disposal belonging to family that I shoot avidly, along with a ruger LCP. I know my guns, I know their limitations.

Im sorry that you cannot accept the truth, but you really ought to pick up a CZ82 sometime.

And son, I dont think that pistol is the cats ass, I simply gave an overview of my experience with the handgun because I think it is an under advertised, and very capable firearm. You live in Texas? Id like to come meet you and shoot at the range one day. See if you even know what you are talking about...
