Hey guys.
I just purchased a brand new Kel-Tec P11.

I noticed that when I load the factory magazine with 10 rounds it is like there is something rattling around inside the magazine. It's kind of annoying. Anybody else ever experience this?

That's just silly.
Are there and jimmy-rigs to fix it?

+1 ya they do that. But it doesn't affect function.
Sometimes the mag spring is in backwards. Not mine.
Sometimes if you are careful when loading to be sure they stack correctly, it will cure it. Not mine.
Sometimes, if you rap the base of the mag, the rounds settle in and quit rattling. Not mine.
Good luck.

The 12 rounders do not rattle. I just use my 12 round mag as my primary mag.

Yeah... I'm in NYS so maybe I can find a preban 12 rounder?
I'm going to play around with the mag and see if I can come up with a fix. I'll post it here if I have success.

I have found if I empty the mag, and reload them, it sometimes fixes the rattle.

But if you want a real fix, try this,

I have found that works once in a while, but danged if I bump my pocket, or temperature change loosens them up again.

I have found that loading only 9 instead of the full 10 rounds cures it as well, but only in one of my factory mags.

If it weren't my trusted carry gun, I would try tweaking the mag body, but I'd rather have the rattle than the worry I'll mess up the mag or feeding.. YMMV

Agreed. Messing with the magazines of your carry gun could be a bad idea !

Is it a loose round?
My glock 21 does this, as does my beretta 92, it seems to be an issue with some double stack mags.

My experience is that the blue Meggar mags rattle and the silver ones don't. YMMV.

I just fixed the rattle.
Took one of your advice:

I opened the bottom and flipped the magazine spring.
Solved the issue on two of my magazines.

Thanks guys.
