What do you prefer for an OWB holster for the BHP?

Greetings,

What do you prefer for an outside waistband holster for your Browning HP?

I am considering the different options and am tempted to just go with what I know (well, maker not necessarily product)- Milt Sparks 55BN.

If I am serious about concealment I will buy an IWB, but frankly at this point I prefer the comfort of an OWB holster for range use and woods carry.

Please let me know what you prefer in a holster. I need food for thought.

Thanks,
Cheese

I do not carry my BHP's very much, but when I do, I use my Raven.

I have 3 Hi-Powers none of which are Browning, 1 FN Alloy frame, 1 FEG Clone, 1 FM Detective. If it's just for range wear I usually use a Don Hume JIT belt slide holster, If I need better retention then it is the Blackhawk CQC holster.

That looks wonderful; unfortunately, I neither have the time or the money to drop on such a rig.

What are your grips?

Anyone know any suggested OWB holsters that would be almost "duty" quality? Reason being, I'm counter monkey at a shop, recently acquired my BHP, and want to wear it around in the store––-which means it'd be on my hip about 40+ hours a week, and concealment isn't of the highest priority.

I've been a real fan of Andy (one man shop in England) from Horseshoe Leather @ holsters.org. Andy is a real gentleman and answers all his emails. Turn around times are surprising since he's across the pond. His products and workmanship is second to none!

Not cheap. Not quick. However, it is the best.

Milt Sparks 55BN

What is this? I can't quite make out the stamp on the leather.

Also, what's the hive's opinion on Don Hume?
