Tell me about camouflage High Powers

The local crack house I mean gun shop has a camouflage Browning High Power. Does anybody have any experience with these and can tell me how the design is applied, and how durable is it? I can't imagine it would hold up very well with regular use, nor can I believe there is much collector interest in them even though I see they are no longer in the Browning catalog. I'd be curious how long they were produced.

I am alternately attracted to and repulsed by this design.

Like putting a camo pattern on a sports car. UGLY and no reason.

That's probably a pretty good summation, but I'd still like to learn more about the finish and production of these pistols.

FN/Browning uses a baked on epoxy resin on the Matte Black, Mossy Oak and Digital Camo Hi Powers.
Not unlike Duracoat, etc.

The Matte Black is very durable and would be my choice for finish if i CC'd any of my Hi Powers.
