P10 night sights
I have a P10 I want to install aftermarket night sights on. I purchased a set of XS 24/7 Big Dot sights and my local gunsmith told me they were a bit to large to fit in the factory dove tail. When I spoke to XS they told me they were the correct sights, they needed to be fitted. my local gunsmith didn't want to take the chance on ruining the slide or the sights. does anyone have experience with installing sights? I'm thinking the local guy doesn't have enough experience in fitting sights.
You have a vise, sight pusher, files, cailpers, drifts, hammer, stones. Reduce the size of the dovetail till it fits your factory dovertail. Or return the sights
