Bladetech holster 14-45

Has anyone tried one of these on a high cap 1911? I have a Para 14-45 and currently use a Serpa 1911 holster with it. it does ok but it's more tight than I would like due to being a little wider than a standard 1911. I was just wondering if any of you have tried because Bladetech is running a July 4th sale on them this weekend. They actually list a Para Ord 14-45. Any input would be helpful. thanks

I use a Bladetech Tactical Light Holster w/Tek-Lok for my HK USP and M6x. I really like it and it has good retention. However, if given the choice at the time, I would have gone with a Serepa if they included the tactical light.

I have a 5.11/ Bladetech for my Glock 21 and hate it.
On to the Serpa for the Para.. I had the same issue. Heres how I fixed it for free.
Loosen the tension screw on the Serpa until it's ready to fall out, then tighten 1 turn. Place the gun into a t-shirt or handkerchief. Push the gun as far into the holster as you can, with the cloth around it. Using a heat gun, warm up the holster until you can shove the gun in a bit more. I did it until the muzzle was flush with the end of the holster. You'll have to get it pretty warm to allow it to stretch, but if it gets shiny, thats too hot. Once the gun is pushed in, set the whole thing aside for about an hour for the holster to cool. Pull the gun out, remove the cloth, and check the fit. You'll need to tighten the screw some but you'll find that the Serpa fits the Para just fine after that.

Okay I'll give it a try. Thanks for the tip. I liked the part "if it gets shiny it's too hot" LOL
