 Para GI Expert Questions

I have already read good things on this forum about GI Experts. I have recently received a concealed weapon permit, and my plan is to carry a GI Expert in a SuperTuck holster. Is this a good combo? I am 6 foot 3 and around 280 lbs, so I dont THINK I will have a problem concealing a large pistol.

Also, I am planning on picking one up at a gun show in a few weeks. What price do you think I will be paying? MSRP on Para's site says $599, but I never trust MSRP.

Will these pistols take any 1911 mags or do they have to be 8 rounders? I have a bunch of 7 round GI mags already.

Thank you for your responses, guys. If you want/need more information let me know...(I am getting ready to head to work, so I dont have a lot of time to type...sorry)

No one can really answer this, you will most likely have to try a few holsters to find good combos for different seasons and dress. A SuperTuck is a great start IMHO.

499-550 seems about right, wife paid 519 from cabelas.

GI mags fit and function perfectly, gun is standard pattern 1911.

for serious carry use I would suggest a better mag than the gi surplus. save them for range use and get some wilson chip mccormick or tripp mags for serious business
