Shooting Blazer 9mm in a Luger
Is this a go or a no-go? I recently picked up a 1937 Luger (Mauser) and so far all it will shoot is the Winchester 115grn FMJ.
I found some Blazer and wonder if it's OK for a Luger.
While it won't hurt the gun, I doubt it will cycle smoothly. Obviously there's only one way to find out...............

The P08 was designed for the 124gr bullet. For best accuracy use these when you can. The only caveat is no high pressure +P or +P+ ammo. Also please tell me this is a beater or mismatched import marked gun.
More of a shooter than anything else.
Looks to have been polished and then reblued.
Thanks for the heads up on the 124grn bullet. I was getting ready to der a bunch of 115grn FMJ.
Funny mine works best with the 147 grain bullet.

I've shot plenty of 115gr ammo thru mine w/o any issues of feeding or cycling.
My .o2
Bob, I too shoot 115gr bullets in my shooter Lugers. All I was trying to convey is that the gun was designed for the 124gr bullet.
I had a chance to test it a couple of weeks ago at the WAHTF LCR Shoot.
Wolf was a definate no-go. The cases repeatedly stuck after firing.
Remington 147grn HP didn't feed well.
WWB 115grn FMJ worked without any problems and was pretty accurate as well.

Well,
I'm designed for slim, gorgous females but that doesn't mean I don't get fed different weights & run with it...............

I have been using 124gr Georgia Arms reloads. They seem to work well. Sometimes WWB 115's don't have enough recoil cycle the toggle reliabily.
