Holster from Deadliest warrior (Spetnaz)?
The Deadliest warrior recently had an episode were the put the green berets against the spetnaz. The russians had a holser that you pushed straight down on, and it would pull the slide back, chamber a round and take the safety off. Has anyone seen this and if so, where can I get one? My google-fu must be weak because all i can find is people asking the same question.

They are out right now. Probably because of the show. I want one, too.
Emailed them, no reply yet.
yup, that was pretty cool.
Anyone find one yet? I may go ahead and get the other one they list.
Do you push it down to remove it?

Yes, the one from the show, you push down to remove the gun. Here it is:
http://www.rusmilitary.com/html/c-equip_belts.htm . It is the EFA-2.
According to the site,on the EFA-1, you push down to load and pull back up to remove. I am planning on getting an EFA-2 if they ever get them back in stock. I may just go with the EFA-1 for now. I have been checking regularly for the past month and have yet to see the EFA-2 in stock.

Manufactures web site, aparently the model 1 and 2 holster have been discontinued and smaller versions are now in production.

I wonder if they sell retail. I emailed them to find out.
I don't see the point of this for a double action pistol.
Then dont get one. That will make us all a little cooler.
But really... I do not like to carry with one in the chamber, just me. With this holster, you can carry decocked, safety on, and an empty chamber. With one downward push, the holster will deactivate the safety, chamber a round, and cock the hammer. And you don't see the point, c'mon.
If you get one, let us know how your finish holds up!

They won't go off, it's a double action pistol. This would be alot more useful for a Browning High Power or a Colt 1911.
I e-mailed the manufacturer a few weeks ago as well. Nothing. Kinda disappointed me. They did list sellers but they're all in Russian which sure as hell isn't helping me out any. I looked on Gunbroker (aka Price Gouge Central) as well as e-Bay and couldn't find them anywhere. Rusmilitary.com hasn't had them in a while. Unfortunately, Oleg isn't very good at communication. I ordered some stuff from him, EFA-2 among them, and he never sent that and another item. I e-mailed him asking why I got half my order. He eventually mailed me back and said "Items are out of stock. You were not charged." And that was it.
I suppose I should be used to disappointment at this stage in my life. Oh well, I'll continue my endeavour. Make somebody give a nod if they find them!
I am kicking myself. a few years ago, when I was first looking at Maks, I saw that holster for 25 plus shipping..and didn't get it. Now I am sad.
I was looking for this same holster a few months back with the same results. Bunch of E mails from vendors who have no idea when they will get more.
I have to have one

I have some family in FL, and some of them speak Russian. Let me know if you want some help.

Wrong again I carry a 1911 everyday and I would never ever, ever consider carrying it empty chamber hammer down. I would be surprised if anyone on here that carrys a 1911 or a hi power that knows how to use them would either
I believe you're looking for this thing:
...and I have to say it's a bad idea for anything but novelty. I don't know how many Russians ND'd into their leg trying to use that thing, but the tally is probably pretty high. If somebody has their finger on the trigger while they are trying to do the ninja trick it's a recipe for disaster. Notice the finger position in the photos...if that's your idea of finger off the trigger, you are pretty much screwed with this holster thing.

Carrying with the hammer down on a chambered round with the pistol in DA mode and with the safety on (optional) is
infinitely safer than trying to chamber the weapon using a goofy holster that seems like it was designed to cause an ND. Believe it or not most handguns are extremely safe when loaded provided you don't screw around with them or do stupid things with them.
Ideas like this are so "safe" that they're hideously unsafe. In the pursuit of a completely unnecessary "safety" practice like carrying an unloaded gun they invented a holster that invites somebody to forcefully yank on the gun while their finger is on the trigger. Ya. That's not an upgrade in the safety department.
His finger placement is his fault, not the holsters. I carry all my guns cocked and locked, and have no problems with it. I was wondering if this might be a "faster' draw. Plus it is probably a unique collector's piece.

There is a reason why good holsters are designed to cover triggers.

I dont think thats exactly the case. If a person placed there finger along side the holster, like you were reaching for the trigger, and the only thing keeping your booger picker off hte trigger is the holster...whats going to happen as soon as the trigger/gun clear the holster? Booger picker on the trigger for the ND, Alex.
