Who makes a full size single stack 9mm 1911?
I am thinking about getting a 1911 in 9 mm. Ammo is so much cheaper and a neighbor has a complete reloading setup he'd let me use.
CTI makes a 5" single stack. I don't want SS. Any other manufactures?
RIA does one. Or did.
I don't know if it is full-size but AIM is pre-selling WWII Star 9mm's for less than $500.
I am trying to come up with the cash. Real Axis 1911's.
Kimber does, I just picked up a Gold Match in 9mm.
Rock Island
STI (Spartan, etc)
Springfield
Kimber
S&W
Colt hasn't made any for a while but old ones are out there. I don't know if SIG does yet, but they probably are in the pipeline.
And Taurus.
I have Rock Island 9mm and a Taurus 9mm. They both shoot very nice.

The Star Model B is not a 1911.

Springfield, Kimber, STI.
Wilson does if you got the coin.
Dan Wesson, you'll be hard pressed to find better for the money.
STI makes some of the best pistols for the money I have seen.
STI Spartan

This would be my choice. I had one for a while. Fantastic pistol, but it never got any range time so I sold it.
STI Target Master (6")
Springfield Loaded
