Finally ordered extra FNP .45 mags
Finally had the coin to order some more mags for my FN so I can
use it in IDPA without unloading the two 14-rounders loaded w/ hollowpoints.
Bought three more 15-rounders from Three Rivers Precision at $36.00 apiece,
a dollar cheaper than CDNN (who doesn't have them in stock, anyway). That will
bring me up to four fifteen rounders, including the one it came with.
FREE shipping, too. Can't beat that or the mag price with a stick.
Now, if I could just manage to SHOOT the dern pistol for the 1st time, I'll be GTG.
(been working OT three weekends straight, ever since I bought it)
Have you tried to fit the FNP Tactical in the IDPA box? I've been thinking of using mine at some point, but I wasn't sure if it would fit the box.
No, but I need to. Mine's NOT the Tactical, BTW; I knew they wouldn't fly for IDPA, unless of course
one removed the threaded barrel and red dot sight, which defeats the purpose of me having the Tactical.
I'll get the dimensions out of the manual and check right now.............
Let's see, OAL length.................7 3/4", good. Box length is 8".
Height...................6" inches on the nose, it'll be a TIGHT fit from top of rear sight
to the bottom of the 15-round mag, good (I hope). Box width is 6".
Width...........................ambi to ambi, 1 1/2", good. Box height is 1 5/8".
The height is the only measurement that's really close.
I really wish the 14-rounders were available, now; the only one's I see for sale are ban-legal 10-rounders
and the fifteen-rounders.
The only ones I can find on there site are $43. Did you have a coupon code?

Indeed, inquiring minds want to know.
No, dern it; by the time I went to order mine, TRP was O-U-T of FNP .45 mags
Ordered three from MidwayUSA for $45.00 bucks apiece. I had the coin, and needed
the mags, but, Damn, that was a bite out of my wallet.
Coupla places were wanting almost $50.00 apiece; Jesus H. KEE-rist.
So where did you buy the mags for $36 each and free shipping?
