Just picked up a case of the new low recoil tactical 1 buck load. It is advertised as a 15 pellet load at 1100fps. I shot patterns at 5 7, 10, 15, 25, and 30 yards on FBI Q targets yesterday from a open choked vang comp barrel. At 5 and 7 yards it the entire pattern was under 2", at 10 yards the pattern was 3 1/2", 25 yards was an 11" pattern with all pellets in the Q, and at 30 yards it opened to 13 1/2" with two pellets just off of the Q. Seems to be an excellent load out to 25 yards. This stuff should be available today in my area. The distributor where I got it from recieved a good bit of it and is selling it to retailers.

This is HD ammo, not cheap practice stuff...

Ammoman's product changed. At the time the link was posted, the product Ammoman had listed was LE132-1B.
No one else had (or has) it listed for non-agency sales.

Different shotguns, different patterns.
The value packs have always patterned well through my shotguns (well enough for my needs, anyway).
Still, this sounds pretty good. I take it that it's available online only?
