Tell me about my new Winchester
Picked up a Robar coated Winchester 1200 Police Stainless 3in Magnum.
Has after market blonde wood and a gold bead sight.
Slickest 12 gauge pump action ive ever seen.
Anything i should be aware of?
Stock extra extractors unless something special has been done to this gun which deviates from OEM design.
I'll order some today. Going to be my bump in the night gun, its ugly, beat, and cheap, just how i like them.

If only you could get some nerve agent and rub it on the comb so it gave you blisters on your lips every time you shouldered it....
Just wish it was halal enough for paki tape.
On a technical note, any ideas on a good drop in front sight. Thinking fiber optic.
For stationary targets or flying ones?
Get nothing that relies on adhesive or magnets.
Tru Glo makes a universal one size fits none threaded bead. That's shit too.
Are you sure the thread size is even factory original spec? Those things tend to get drilled out pretty and re-tapped to a larger ID when some 'tard boogers them up.
eta - leave the bead you have alone.

Go shoot it before doing any mods. I had one that would forcefully slam the forend back on every shot. Some say the action is too slick.

That's supposed to be a "feature" to facilitate rapid reloading.
I put 100 rounds of 00 buck through it today.
It's slick to the10th degree. Wood furniture is staying on, and I don't plan on bubbatacting this or any other shotgun I own. Home defense in a dark house requests a more viewable front sight. I could always spray from the hip.

Put an XS tritium bead on it.
