Anyone have a "Wood" pistol grip on their 18.5" 870? Picture?
I'm looking to buy a wood 870 stock, cut it up and turn it into a pistol grip. But I found maybe 4 picture's on google images of wood pistol grips. Anyone have one, that can post a picture?
Thanks.
^ That is EXACTLY what I am thinking of getting for my first NFA item.
Those are the only picture's I saw online. I'm really looking for one with a 18.5" barrel. I guess I should put that in the description.

It's hard to tell for sure from this angle, but based on the magazine tube length and the number of "studs" under the vent rib, this one looks like it has 18" barrel.

Yup, I believe your right. Took another look at the picture online and counting the ribs it does look 18" The shorten handguard just make's it look smaller.
So where do we get the wood pistol grips?

Scattergun Technologies used to make them years ago. Pretty hard to find now a days.
Speedfeed makes a plastic one that looks like the Remington wood one.
I have one on my sbs since I couldn't find a wood one.
I had one of the Speedfeed version. While it was much a bit softer recoil when shooting, it did make it harder to aim. I did like the way it looked, but I ended up going with a Choate side folding stock as I could run it as a PG only or with the stock extended.
