Mesa Tactical, ITT/Enidine, and cheek pinching.
So i just finished a Mossberg project shotgun, and i used a Mesa Tactical LEO stock adapter with ITT Enidine buffer and a CTR stock. After assembling it, i noticed that when in the fully retracted position, the front of my cheek is right over the gap in the stock where it recoils. Has anyone had an issue where they got pinched?
I know that i can extend the stock, but the whole point of getting it was to reduce length of pull; i know that i can try and scrunch back on the stock but under stress that likely wouldnt happen. And if i put on a cheek riser, ill be way too high for the bead.
Suggestions?
I test fired 14 shots through it right after i built it and didnt get pinched really, but i was also thinking only about that and making sure that my cheek was away. In a stressful situation i doubt i would be thinking about that, and if i was we have bigger issues.
