Anyone having trouble with their 930?I got mine 3 months ago.First 25 rounds some keeper pin fell out of the feed ramp retainer thing and I was shut down for 2 months waiting on parts.Got parts, put back together and it double feeds now every 4th or 5th round.WHEN I can get 5 in it!!Sposed to hold 8+1........................................I can only get 5 or 6 +1.......something in the tube hangs up!!!!!I'm pissed!!!!!BAAADDDD Taste!!!!Bout to send back and say $%&@ mossberg and get the FN I was gonna get before I decided to save a buck.
I have the 930 SPX, bought it with the intention of using it for 3 gun. Used it for about 5 matches, put around 500 or so rounds through it, no problems other than bloodying my thumb at least once a match from catching it in/under the loading gate. Sorry to hear about the problems with yours.
The only 8+1 930 model Mossberg has is the JM Pro model, and it wasn't available 3 months ago. The highest capacity factory 930 they had prior to that was the SPX, which is 7+1. With that said, do you have an aftermarket extension tube on yours? It sounds like your follower is hanging up at the junction of the magazine tube and the extension, so I would start there and see why. Not sure what the deal is with the double feeding though...
I agree with post above. If younhave the SPX the round count us 7+1. I can tell you i LOVE my 930. NEVER ha any sort of double feed or any malfunction. I hope you get your situation fixed and goodluck.

If you have the SPX, it has a Chote magazine extension tube. The Chote tubes are known to hang up every once in a while.(i have never had trouble with mine though) I would try messing with the spring. If you are having double feeds it is probly because your spring is to long thus making your gun double feed and only giving you 6+1 (because the spring is taking up space in the tube). I would try clipping the magazine extension spring and see if it helps.
