I was able to go pick it up early! I'm pleased on initial examination of my P38... the holster it came in is very obviously recent issue though (nylon fabric in German cammo pattern), so I will probably end up ordering a more "retro" one. Pics when I get a chance.

These P38s and P1's are really incredible values...

And the Polish Tokarev... looks absolutely brand new. Radom (11) made some really nice stuff. I'm beginning to think all those Polack jokes were unfair...

That is a Gunbroker purchase....

The initial batch of P1's sold out quickly. I missed that group but really wanted one and I desired one of the P1's with the added frame cross bolt / pin. I was browsing the auction site when I ran across the one you viewed above. VERY fairly priced and the added advantage of seeing the actual gun I was getting. There are many out there so look and be patient. It is one of the best C&R deals going.
