Best place to find a cut up 03 Springfield?
I am looking for a "sporterized" o3 Springfield for a project I'm working on. I won't cut up an untouched original but I don't want a rifle that has been drilled and tapped.
I have checked all the local pawn shops and found a couple but they want stupid money for them....same with the local gunshows. Who in the hell told people that the guns were worth $400? You can buy a Savage package rifle to hunt with for less than that......
I have looked at some online auctions and the prices are all over the map. I am looking to pay about $300 or so, is that a fair amount?
