Hey Guys,I'm wanting to know what your opinions are on re-production rifles.Ever since I've been into/collecting guns I've ALWAYS wanted a Semi auto Bren gun & semi auto PPSH 41,on top of that I've always wanted an Enfield No4 Mk1T Sniper Rifle.Until now I've settled for the semi auto PPSH 41 a Century Arms Moisin 91/30 Sniper re-pro.I'm very happy with both. Now I've got the opportunity to build both the K98 sniper & a No4 Mk1 T sniper & am a little conflicted.Part of me thinks that both repro sniper rifles will look great & add value to my collection, but another part thinks that it's wrong to make knock off's of classic WW2 sniper rifles. If I do build these rifles I will not be selling them, they will ONLY be to enhance my collection, what do you guys think???

I have no problems with reproduction firearms, case in point, I own M1A reproductions of the M14 and PTR 91 reproduction of the H&K G3.
I shouldn't forget my Uberti reproductions of the Winchester 1873 and Henry 1860 rifle, or my Mirou reproduction of an 1886 extra lightweight rifle.

Almost forgot the whole batch of reproduction M16 type rifles I own called AR15s,,,

You state you aren't building to misrepresent, profit from, or out and out commit fraud.
The guns are yours, do what you wish with them.

In a lot of cases it is the only realistic way to buy some of the classics. A Bar cost a fortune in full auto as does a Bren. not to mention there almost no transferable 7.62x54r belt feds
