Found a 1968 2A1 at the fun show this morning.

All matched, strong shiny bore, paint still in relatively good shape except for a couple spots of rust on the outside of the mag, that will clean up easily.
Stock looks good, the usual dings that all of these have. Fore stock stamped with matching serial number. The butt stock does have an anomaly, I think. Has a small "84" rack number painted on the left side and S^A stamped on the left. The butt plate is definitely Indian though.

I cannot find any import marks on it. There is some Sanskrit on the right side of the receiver just behind the bolt lever notch.

Serial AC 96XX

I'll get some pics up after I run some patches down the bore and work on the mag a bit.

Oh, $200 OTD.

I need to get pics of this and a .303 Martini for the other thread.

I'll try to get something up today.

I'd like to get some pics outdoors as the light is so much better, but I live in a college town, and the neighbors get more than a little edgy about firearms..

That show is becoming good hunting grounds for 2A1s.

Another member bought one for a good price at the show before this one.
