Just got a Pursuit XLT. It came with a scope but no rings and base.
It was the display model at Dicks and I got it for $260. I was surprised to see the scope in the box when I got home but bothered by the lack of base and rings. Anybody have a pet load for this rifle? I would like to shoot cheaper lead bullets if it's possible to still get a decent group with them. Thanks guys.
I dont have experience with this gun, but it has a 1-28twist barrel. 320 or 350 g TC maxi-ball would be worth trying. ( they work good in my 1-28 flintlock)

I am using 65g of Goex FFg with it, mine is a flintlock. I have used the same volume of FFFg with it as well and gained about 4" of elevation at 100yards.
