Does anyone know who stocks 2F and 3F black powder in the north texas area? I live just north of Mineral Wells, so i know I am going to have to drive, just don't want to order online and pay the shipping.

Here is their distributor list. Anyone close?

Goex

May want to post in TX Hometown. Someone may know of another local dealer. Just a thought.

When I buy online it's usually from Powder Inc. Luckily I have a supplier about 3 hours away.

Almost every dealer stopped carrying it years ago due to the BATFE re-classifying it. Dealers suddenly need another license and special storage.
I order from Powderinc. Their prices include shipping and hazmat fees. They have a 5# minimum order size but you can mix powders in the order. Their prices are good also, and the more you order the cheaper per pound it is.

With the price of gas the way it is, it might make more sense to order, even with hazmzat fees. And consider what your time is worth before you take a long drive. Track of the Wolf & Graf and Sons are good places to order. Seems like last time I ordered, the hazmat fee was waived for orders of 25# or more. Just my 2 cents.

I'm lucky and have a dealer 5 minutes from my place.

Gipson's Shooting Range in Mesquite sells it.
