Form 4 Approved in 5 Weeks!
Just saw my Uzi for the first time today at my SOT/FFL.

Bought it from fellow member Quarterbore from PA in mid-January. Now the long wait for the Form 4 to me.

I read the title, and got very excited for you.
Enjoy the wait now!
I feel ya. I'm going to start the form 4 for my first M16 tomorrow after the form 3 finally was approved last week and my dealer will get it tomorrow. I'm really really dreading this wait. It's going to be tough, but at least I can try it out whenever I have time to swing by my dealer. I got my Shrike in today, and it wasn't too happy without a happy switch.
Meh. It was a F4 to a dealer. That is pretty standard time frame for what it should be. Not that its always standard.

Yeah, my last Form 4 to a dealer took even less time, about 30 days door to door IIRC, about a month ago. But I've also read about Form 4 to dealers taking 5 months. I'm just glad it's here at my dealer and I've held it in my hands.

I bought my M16 on april fools day last yr, F3 to my dealer 7wks, F4 sent in same day it arrived at dealer, 2days check cashed, 2wks to pending, 120days after pending for approval

, Dana Pickles...
I've been on the fence post to buy a shrike, can't decide if I want to link up ammo or just buy beta mags..
There's just a lot of versatility in a Shrike. It's essentially an M249 that weighs less. The barrel can be changed in around 3 seconds. You can go from beltfed to magazine fed in just a few seconds too. The only thing I don't like is that you have to swap out the boly catch. I'm kinda leery about doing that to my transferrable M16
Hopefully the F4 to me (dealer) is 4 weeks! My examiner has been GREAT on F3's lately, hope she keeps up the good work!
Yea the waiting game can suck. Called today to check on a form 4 for a sbr that had the paperwork mailed off in December. They told me the serial wasn't in the system. They were able to find the info under the transfername and dealer name but wouldn't give me any info past that. Had the dealer call and found out while the info on the form 4 was correct(I was reading off a photo copy I had) they put it in the system wrong. He got it straightened out but was told it would be around another 3 months before it is approved.
