Someone who knows better can chime in, but I've always been told quite clearly by several people at several different gun stores, etcetera, to spell out everything and don't use initials, i.e. on 4473s.
I called my trust "John Bob Doe Revocable Living Trust" which is what Willmaker automatically made it.
Just wanted to make sure that I'm OK with my trust being named "JP Doe Trust" and that no one has ever heard thar 'Revocable living' must be in the name.
Essentially the name can be whatever I want.
Thanks

yes.
revocable and living are properties of the trust defined in the trust document. there is no need to add them to your trust name.
IIRC, Quicken Willmaker started this fad by adding it to all trusts by default. it only became an issue when some "important" ATF employee decided to raise the issue that RLT is not an officially recognized abbreviation. Now people who had trusts named "Revocable Living" couldn't abbreviate it to the 3 letters and had to spell it all out.
our trust is "lastname trust"
