Looking for PVS-4 mount.

Looking to see if you guys have any advice where to find a mount for one of these bad boys. Not particular about brand and I am waiting to here back from the gentlemen that is making the acog adapter. I bought the scope and figured the mount would be easy to find.

If you are looking for a fairly standard mount (the issue rail grabber or M16 carry handle block) check ebay and gunbroker. Every few weeks something pops up. I ended up with a few that way.

As mentioned the mil issue rail grabber is ok. The ARMS #20 mount is IMO very good. And there is an adapter out there that lets you use any acog compatible mount now too but I've never used it.

starting to think I might be better off to just build a m-60 or m249 and using one of those mounts. I can not find a mount anywhere and I sent a email to the the acog guy a week ago without a peep. Got a kickass scope that needs to mounted to a rifle.

You can open up the hole in an ACOG mount and bolt a PVS-4 directly to it. I can't remember if it uses a 1/4"-20 bolt or not. Get a stainless bolt as you will need to grind down the bolt to clear the rail and sit recessed into the mount. I did it with a Trijicon TA-51 factory ACOG mount. I know it won't work with the ADM ACOG mounts as there are many different holes in it to allow you to adjust the placement of the ACOG. A Larue may work, but I haven't seen one to confirm.
