I just finished putting this one together a little while ago. I was very pleased with the final outcome of this project. This is the first time I have used the Burnt Bronze color. I really like the look of the cured color. As far as the 1911 itself, ATI for being a fairly inexpensive 1911 platform. It seems to be put together pretty good. Slides fit nice, functions work really well. I woldn't mind having one of these for myself. Hope everyone likes the photo.

That is fantastic. How did you do the handgrip?

The grips were the worst part, of the whole project. I have a little trick that I figured out that works pretty good in most cases. I would be more than happy to share with you, but it might be a little bit difficult trying to explain it in a post.
