I can't take credit for discovering this. Don't remember where I found it. I just figured I would post this because having searched for hours, I only found a couple of mentions to this paint.
This is IMO NOT
the closest rattle can color match to Magpul FDE out there. I got the wrong one though. I would go with the "textured" version if I had to do it again cuz it's flat and grainy. This one's kinda shiny but it doesn't bother me, cuz it won't be that way for long. I plan to beat the shit out of this rifle.

Now that it's cured it looks a little lighter so I retract my statement above. I think what I'm gonna do its hit it with some fine grit sand paper, and once I get the upper assembled (not the upper on it now, that's for another build) I'll give that the same treatment and then hit it with some green do darken it up a little.

Looks good but Brownell's Aluma Hyde II Coyote is the closest rattle can color to match Magpul FDE.

I shoul've said cheap rattle can...but I was wrong because it's really not that close at all
I've since gone at it with a green scrubber i had lying around to kill some of the shine. Now it looks all beat up. It's pretty cool actually. I figure I'll hit with some of the flat od camo paint with a mix of leaves and grass or maybe I'll go with an ATAC pattern. Whatever I'm havin some fun with it.
