So I got bored the other day and noticed my rifle looked... Well it looked like any other spikes middy with Magpul furniture. So I pulled out the blue masking tape and a can of Valspar cheapo grey primer I had laying around and decided to get "creative".
Pardon the crappy cell pics. Also the flash washed out the grey a bit, so believe me it's a little darker in person.
Not too bad for my first time trying something like this right? I mean I definitely learned a few things about masking and part prep.
Bad Ass.
I like it. What does the "01" on the hand guard signify?

The General Lee, of course.

That looks pretty good.
I think it looks pretty good.
It kind of has that old battleship camo look going on.
I like it.

The "01" really doesn't mean anything. I just kinda put it there to look cool. As far as the overall design after I put it on it kinda makes me think of what Syd Meade's AR15 would look like.
Looks cool, I would like to see better pictures of they now grey furniture.
Spiffy.
Reminds me of the paint job I did on my 10/22. Unfortunately the paint is coming off now and it looks like crap. I'm going to redo it all black.

It does, doesn't it?
