I am not looking to paint the entire rifle, only match it to the hand guards.
The receiver will stay the standard finish.
Do you have any recommendations or steps I should take to paint the stock and grip? Nothing complicated, but my friend wants an Olive Drab hand guard and furniture.
Suggestions?

Stock and grip? Remove them, krylon, let dry for an hour, put them back on.
