Got a wild hair last weekend and refinished one of my pistols. We have been applying a lot of Burnt Bronze lately and I have grown to really like the color so on a whim I stripped it down and refinished it. It has CeraKote "H" series Graphite Black on the slide, barrel, and controls and Burnt Bronze on the frame.

That burnt bronze is something isn't it!

To be honest I didnt like it the first time I saw it but it has grown on me. But its gotten a little addictive. Now I am thinking about using it in a digital camo with black and dark stainless.

^ Do this! Be the pioneer! I think it'd look sick!
The 92 turned out awesome!
That looks incredible! Sorry for swooning, but for the last month, I've been scouring (lurking) these pages for ideas and advice on how best to go about starting a DIY refinishing project. The project is a Taurus PT92.

And now I see this!
I started buying up supplies (airbrush, cleaners, degreasers) and want to do something very similar to what you've done. Thanks for the inspiration.
