Gemtech MK9K 3 lug mount issue
I recently received my stamp and MK9K for my RR mini Uzi. I bought a 3 lug barrel to mount it but the 3 lug mount on the can will not fit over the muzzle of my barrel. Has anybody had this issue before? The seller that I bought the barrel from said he test fits every barrel he makes on his personal MK9K before he sells them. I am currently waiting for a response from Gemtech but I thought I'd ask here as well. Thanks.
nope, mine fit fine from day one. Where are you in texas? you can try mine if we are close enough.
Many moons ago I had a Rem 700 LTR threaded & tension style bi-lock mounted. Same issue - bi lock wouldn't fit on my suppressor. Ended up sending the can & barrel back to them. The bi-lock was out of spec, can was fine.
I'd just contact Gemtech & explain the problem. If you have a micrometer they can probably direct you over the phone which is out of spec. Worst case scenario you may have to send them in.
I've used my MK9K 3-lug on 3 different guns. Never had an issue with mounting.
The MK-9K mount is gauged to fit a German factory 3-lug barrel. There are a lot of people making 3-lug adapters and barrels that do not meet the HK Germany specifications.
If you wish for us to inspect your suppressor, we will be happy to do so. Send it to us UPS prepaid, and also send us your barrel. The barrel is important. If the mount is not within specifications, we will repair at no charge. Be sure that we have a letter describing the problem and include a daytime phone number so we can contact you.
