9mm can that is able to handle 7.62x39?
Just wondering if there are any 9mm cans that are user serviceable & able to handle the pressures of normal 7.62x39mm ammo?
None that can handle rifle ammo (supersonic). Too much pressure.
Now, that being said, a 9mm could prolly handle subsonic ammo like 300blk subs.
If I was going to consider a 9mm can, it would likely be the Osprey 9mm. I believe its user serviceable too.
Huntertown Arms Kestrel 762AK
The Thompson Machine Isis-2 is a user serviceable 9mm suppressor rated for subsonic 300 Blk, not supersonic ammo. However here is a torture vid where they shot both 556 & 762x39 SBRs through the suppressor. I can't think of any reason why someone would make a 9mm suppressor and rate it for 762x39 but not market it as a rifle suppressor.

The Huntertown I posted above is sold as a 762 rifle can. The baffles however are overbored to accept the low tolerances in AK threads. This overbore makes the can able to take 9mm as well. It is however, not rated for 308. Its only 762x39, 300BO, 9mm, and smaller.

Kind of cool but they still dont want you to do that.
BTW thats a really loud fsp on the Glock 17
You can shoot all .300 blk and subsonic .30 rifle rounds through a liberty mystic. Reduced loads in 7.62x39 should be ok.
Anything that can handle both is going to be a compromised design for pistol use. It will be heavy, long, and probably not cycle well and then may not sound good with supersonic rounds either if it's optimized for the 9mm round. I'd recommend finding dedicated suppressors for each if you really want to use it on a pistol.
