.22lr pistol barrel adapters Gemtech or SilencerCo. or...
I have just got a Smith & Wesson M&P22 pistol and want to get a barrel adapter and I know the Walther p22 adapters work. I was wondering if there is any difference between the two or if there is another option?
I have a SwarfWorks adapter on a P22 and I just (as in 5 minutes ago) took delivery of a Gemtech adapter for my M&P22. The SwarfWorks is GTG and upon initial inspection, the Gemtech appears to be a nice piece as well. I'll be able to formulate a better opinion on the Gemtech adapter after I get a chance to install it this evening.
I have used the SilencerCo ones on my P22 and now the M&P- have over 40k rounds on them. Demo guns... And they have held up great!!
I have the Silencerco on my GSG1911.
It is going strong after a few thousand rounds.
