Am I the Only Wierdo...
..who feels funny handling my new Osprey .45 because it isn't totally MINE yet?
The Osprey came in last week. Form 4's got sent off today. At my dealer's counter, I installed the piston, scrutinized it, but the joy wasn't all there. Even though I fondled that thing like I was trying to marry it, the can still feels like someone else's.
Like I said. Weird.
If I see my paperwork/stamp comes back completed by March of next year, I'll be a happy man.
No, your not the olny weird person in the world.
Look in the Cubical next to you...
it doesn't feel like your cause it's not yours... Yet.
As a owner of an osprey FDE-45 can you will enjoy it once it is yours and only yours.
...who can't spell? No, you are not.
I know, I can't spell my way out of a wet paper bag.
My FDE-45 Osprey is one of the first 100 SilencerSo made. Looks and works great on my FDE FNP-45 Tatical.
Great cans!
No, I am sure I looked like a weirdo drooling over my 762SDN6 when i got to hold it. It pissed me off the first time and then on the second visit it made me even madder having to leave her sitting with the dealer. I want to take her home dammit.

Don't worry you'll feel better when you get to take it home and shoot it

But yeah get an FNP-45 Tactical for that suppressor, it's my favorite combo for sure.
No your not.... When I purchased, err paid for my sparrow, hard knowing I just spent $1000 on it(Can, Stamp and Trust) and won't get to try it out for at least 6 months. Almost felt like I just got scammed for a grand! Lol
And Paperwork was sent on April 3rd, and went pending May 8th
6 month wait isn't lookin good

It's a shame the way the government handles these transfers, but it's the only system we have and our freedom is limited to what the government is willing to offer us.

More like 8 or 9 months now. Sorry
When my dealer called me to tell me that I can finally pick up my Phantom, I was at work & didnt get off till 6pm. That day is the LONGEST day EVER.
He told me I could just stop by the next day if I wanted. I told him, HELL NO! I'll be there as soon as I can get there, without getting pulled over lol
Im still trying to figure out why I didnt buy one years ago. I mean, I havent had this much fun with a gun since my first AK bump fire

I feel your pain, I purcahsed my fist can at the end of January and two weeks later bought 3 more. 3 of them had to be ordered so I had to wait on the form 3, last week my final from 3 can came in and I sent off the paper work yesterday.
Total I have 5 stamps im waiting on, will get my Form 1 SBR stamp first, followed by the sparrow since the dealer had one in stock then the phantom, osprey lastly the MM going to be a long year...
Here's a family pic.

It's yours, you paid for it. The wait just the .gov's way of discouraging people from buying them. You're just proving that you can be patient & out-wait the stupid law instead of being intmidated by it.
Just you because my Osprey9 has been pending since the end of January, but I can visit it and play with it all I want until I can actually take it home.

you should be pissed at the federal gov that you have to wait at all, not all nancyboy guilty feeling about it.

This. Don't give the dealers any more ideas that it belongs to them. The first can I purchased I bought from Major Malfunction. It arrived at the local dealer I was using, and I subsequently discovered he was taking it with him all over the place and putting it on display at gun shows.
