I had a parts kit, but sold it last month. I know there was another complete parts kit on GB for 500+, which, if you take into account the cost of a complete launcher, minus your stripped receiver price, was still a good deal, but I have not seen it listed lately. Only two I knew of. GROG

so you think 500 is a good price for just the parts for the stripped receiver?
Thanks,

My kit was missing a couple minor parts, and I sold it for 300. That was a "good price". I think 500 is a fair price, considering there are no commercial sources. The 40mm market prices are driven by supply and demand. Just a few years ago, you could buy M407 HE training rounds for 20 bucks a piece. Supply dried up. Now I see them on Gunbroker for over 300 a piece. Barrels are the same way. They used to go for 100 bucks, and now they are up to 300. When LMT started releasing and selling to civillians, I thought the market prices would come down. Nope. LMT changed their minds, and supply is drying up again.

So... My advice is, if you want an M203, and see a parts kit reasonably priced, complete, grab it. The supply is drying up fast, and once gone, like M79 parts, they will become impossible or very hard to find, and very expensive. GROG

While I was waiting on my form 4 to come back on my M203 I went to Grog's site and started reading up.
Quickly found out that parts can be hard to find and was patiently instructed on the basics.
Found a complete parts set on one of the gun auction sites for 550 and jumped on it. This was only the small parts, not the
barrel assembly.
No regrets.
They do show up occasionally so keep at it.

That's the guy I bought my parts from.
Exactly what was pictured.

There's a barrel on GB right now for $195. Barrels can be had all over the place.

I picked up one of those Jimmy, and made a nice 8.75" shortie barrel. Easy as pie when you have your own mini lathe. GROG
