I recently aquired a Doublestar lpk (including fire control parts) by accident. I know they are not Colt but is there any reason I should not use them in my A1 lower? I'm putting KNS nonrotating pins as well.
My plan would be to set the original Colt parts aside with the upper in case I ever want to put it back to original form.

I replaced my original set and as long as they work, there is no issue IMO
I used a bushmaster kit though.
I agree. Use the aftermarket stuff. It may or may not hold up as long as OEM parts, but I can't see them doing any harm.
