Sorry if this has already been covered, I am new to the FN club. I looked through the 6 pages briefly last night and didn’t see what I was looking for.

Question is what part is engraved?

What are the measurements on your Form 1 for a 10.3 barrel?

Thanks,
D

The receiver that has the factory serial number is the "registered" part.
I believe 19.7" OAL.

You may also want to do some reading here.

There have been varoius PS90 SBR threads in the past.

here's just a few places you can engrave. i had mine done by TROS obviously and transfered back to me. I prefer his company's name instead of mine for privacy issues.

TROS did mine as well and did it in the same spot as yours.

I've done some looking for a barrel, not much love for CMMG..... Is this correct? If not are their barrels worth that much? Hi-desert has them in stainless for $167.00. Seems like most guys are just cutting their factory barrel. Any info would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,
D

I'm happy with my CMMG barrel. I can see that it was chromed after crowning.

Cutting and recrowning a chrome-lined barrel is a controversy: if it works you're good, if not you're screwed. Pretty simple.

Are the cheaper barrels cut-down factory? If so, see above.

What are the specs on the CMMG barrel? CHF? MP HP? Chrome lined (bore and barrel)?

Are the 1:7 and 1:9 same as an AR? I have only seen the 40gr rounds.

Thanks,
D

I love my PS90 CMMG short barrel, I was always going to get the original cut down but never did it.
I went with the 1/7 because at the time I thought about reloading for it, but have since given up on the reloading effort for 5.7.
If I put the rifle on bags and really concentrate it will usually do sub 2" at 100 yards.

I'm curious about this as well, I'm about to chop my barrel but this seems like a good option
