 Carbon15 lower on a 50 upper?

It sounds like a "no-brainer" but then I started thinking that they claim how they are stronger than aluminum and that it is more visible when they are failing, so, has anyone tried a carbon fiber lower like a carbon 15 from bushmaster, and how did it work?

I haven't but wouldn't, just because the weight is unlikely to counterbalance the barrel and brake weight ( tip over onto the brake). The only reason lowers break is through abuse or if there is a buffer length issue and the gas key hits the buffer tower and breaks the lower at the take down pin. 50 uppers don't over stress the lowers.

I'd go with your gut feeling on this one.
