Best way to pull loaded rounds?
So I bought a bunch of API that was sold as "Resized", and it is apparently not, because my calipers are reading between .508-.530 when spinning the bullet. Plus they bulged the neck on the case when seated. I bought a sizer for the bullets and have since been sizing the bullets. But now what do I do about the F-ed up rounds I already loaded? They wont chamber.
Get a collet puller. I dont know what press you have. But for those of us cheap skates who bought the LEE press, there is no collet puller that works in our press, per say. Someone turned me on to a 5C collet puller and a 13mm collet from Ebay. If I remember correctly, it is cheaper than the collet pullers that are made for the other presses.
You DO NOT WANT to try to do this with one of the kinetic pullers.
Hum, will you need to resize the brass then too? Ouch.

Yes. You'll have to resize the brass, without the decapping pin in.
this is where i got mine
ebay
now just throw in a 13mm or 55/64 collet
collet
An R8 13mm collet will also work provided you have a holder for it. That's what I use.
I had made my own bullet pullet out of a pair of fencing pliers where I drilled out the gap to 1/2 inch and tapered a bit. It works but not good enough to suit me. So when I saw your above post I decided to get order that. Right at $75 and it should be worth it for my loads that I mess up on and friends factory ammo that does not suit us. Hope this works with an RCBS press.

No reason it should not. Just pull out your die, install shell into ram and raise. With collet installed into the holder, slip collet over bullet down to the top edge of the mouth of the shell. Activate holder to close the collet, should have a good tight grip on bullet, but not to the point of deforming bullet. Now lower ram. I had some commercial shells that where sealed with tar, so I had to kind of slam the leaver up a few times to break the tar seal. Just be ready to grab the collet holder so that it does not fall. Move the holder over the bench and deactivate the holder and bullet should drop free of the collet. Repeat as needed. Another thought, if you have the 7/8" adapter, install it before starting. This will help protect the threads in the press and if the 7/9" adapter threads get messed up. You can always buy another adapter. Just make sure the adapter is fulling screwed in..
A 55/64" collet would NOT work. A 33/64" collet WILL work, at least it does for me.

a 55/64 collet is .859375
did you mean 35/63 which is .546875?
a 33/64 collet is .515625
a 13mm collet is .5118
a bmg round is .510 or 12.7mm
33/64 or 13mm work just fine
I use the CH4D collet puller on their rack and pinion press. Works well. Not cheap, but it works well.
Edit to provide link to the puller.
bullets cost about 45-80 cents each, I just use a vise grip, remove relaoding die, ram round up thru hole, crimp on, lower ram.
