Yeah I bought one and I haven't had any problems so far (about 300 rounds). I was on the list for well over a year and finally received my upper. It has a beautiful 36" Fluted Montana Rifleman Barrel and I was sent a free YHM free float handgaurd with mounting hardware at no cost after the fact. Chris didn't have to do the whole handgaurd thing but I think he felt bad about the assembled rifle being front heavy and wanted to provide an option for moving the bipod forward. With all the bad vibes out there; if Bohica folds I might like to cannibalize my upper. I'm pretty sure he sold a bunch over the last couple years so which reputable upper company would like to pick up the slack and provide upper receivers for Bohica scrappers? - DR
Just enjoy shooting it and cross that bridge when you come to it.
give ya $500 for it all.

This. Don`t be so quick to want to offload it yet. If the things didn`t work as well as they do, we would be hearing of so many more stories of folks having problems. Major problems. So far I have only heard of 2. Yes 2. Now........ how many uppers have they sold?
Wear that sucker out! It is a whole lot of fun to shoot!

With good ammo, it will also surprise you!

would you happen to have parts numbers on the free float handguard , i would like to add one to my bohica and get rid of the plastic handguard .
Thanks
bryan
There is no part# on it. The rail was shipped with an anti-rotation screw and a lock ring from Bohica in a plain brown box. If IRC all later Bohica's were assembled with a YHM compatible barrel nut installed. You could pull your plastic gaurds and check. If you have the threaded nut you should be able to use any YHM threaded forearm. Good Luck - DR
