Whats the absolute best accuracy you guys have acheived with the M99? And who makes the 32" barrel for Barrett, do they do it themselves or does another barrel maker make it for Barret? Thanks in advance

Try the Barrett forum, 99 section. Lots of comments and experiences there.

It's slowed down a lot... just so much you can say on a subject, but go back in time to earlier posts, a year or more, and you can learn something interesting, I imagine. I remember a couple of guys saying they got noticeably better accuracy firing off sandbags rather than the bipod.

I've got a 29" M99. It's very accurate just depends on ammo, shooter and optics. Mine is shooting the X out of the 10 ring @300 and headshots @600. I'd say that's accurate.

No optics on her at the moment as i switch back and forth between her and my N6 with a Leupold MK4 6.5-20X.

From what I have seen they are very accurate. When I had mine I only shot it at 300yds, but it shot great.

Both of these videos are with Barrett M99's shooting at 1 mile.

Last video is sub-moa at 600 yds.

The barrels will be either Krieger or Fedderson. Both extremely good barrels.

If you have access to a bore scope, look into the lands and grooves. The Fedderson barrels are lapped with a diamond paste I believe it is. they have a very high polish.

You will be able to see where the rifling was cut on the Krieger barrels.

I actually called Barrett today and gave them my serial number. They told me I have a Fedderson barrel. Is that good, I've never heard of them before?

Fedderson barrels are real good barrels. We had gotten a consistant sub minute accuracy out to 1000m with them with good handload ammo.
