I just got my stinger case in today and trimmed up the foam in side to hold my AR50. I've been looking and looking for a AR50 case or anything that will let me take it without haveing to break it down. This does it. I'm going to add so wheels to it later and maybe get different foam but I have a trip coming up soon So it'll work as is for now.

I hope you don't plan to try and fly with that thing?

There is no way in hell it would make it to your destination on time. I bet the TSA wouldn't even let it on the plane to begin with

I got mine through CheaperThanDirt about a year and a half ago...they still had a web page up that listed the original $149 price, although after my order it mysteriously disappeared...

For wheels I'd recommend getting about a foot-long segment of 1/2" steel rod, and then adding lawnmower wheels onto the shaft. The reinforcing bracket on the ends have an inner diameter of 1/2" and work perfectly as mounting points for an axle. I built mine to easily come apart for storage.

During my long sojurn through the desert, my missile case served as a portable arms locker...managed to cram it full with six rifles and another five or six handguns, plus spare magazines and accessories for each. It's ridiculously oversized, and draws attention, but there's nothing else on the market that can compare for the price.

The guy I bought it from bought like 48 of them from some surplus place. I looked every where for one and everyone else had already sold out. It's big and heavy but built like a tank. I'm definitely gona do the wheels.

I had one for awhile. They are about the clunkiest, bulkiest manner of toting around a rifle.

I took it to a local shoot yesterday and it worked great. I had 4 box's of ammo, gun, cleaning supplies, a few tools, ear pro, glass', data book all in one spot.

I always wanted one.
I never saw one in person but I thought it was what I wanted because they are cool...

One day at work a small-arms ordie I know had one to give me *FREE*

I took one look at the size of it and stuck with the Starlight case I had!

Perfect for what just may be the clunkiest, bulkiest non-NFA rifle on the market! Good idea OP.

The AR-50 is probably the worst choice possible for a CQB weapon!

I love the rifle ...as long as I don't have to carry it very far.

Thanks guys. It's funny how the foam is. It's like it was made to be used just for an AR50. I had to cut way more on my Pelican case to get my Remington 700 to fit.
