I live in Fl, anybody know if it's okay to carry a Rajah II (or any folder over 4 inches) as long as I'm not concealing it? I've looked around but couldn't get a definitive answer from anywhere.

"While the previous legal length for a pocketknife was 3.75 inches, as of 2010 the maximum length is 4 inches for the knife to be a pocketknife. Also, if the knife has additional tactical features, then it becomes a military-grade knife and therefore illegal without a permit."

I'm always baffled by knife laws. How are they even worth the time they devote to making them?

True that, I know that it would be illegal to conceal it without a Concealed Carry Permit, but I don't know about OC. I guess I'll contact FDLE on one of their non-emergency numbers and I'll find out from the source. Good God, these laws are insanely vague.

I wonder what percentage of stabbings are actually done with the types of knives that usually get banned. My gut tells me that more people get stabbed with screwdrivers than "switchblades".
