Otario RTAK II

Ok, So I just picked up an RTAK II on Ebay and and I am getting ready to take it out on an extended hike/overnight trip in Central Oregon next month. I read quite a few reviews online before I bought it and there is not alot of info about actual use. The blade is extremely strong and overall the knife looks like it will last a lifetime, but I guess my question is has anybody taken theirs out and really used it? Is it a good pack knife or more suited for BOB or geared more for the survival side.

I almost bought one for sheer 80's action movie glory, got an RD7 instead, cause I knew in my heart I didn't even need the RD7 for anything much less something bigger.
