Not sure if I want to sell it or not. It's one of the originals (before the lawsuit). GSG5, 2 10rnd mags, scope mount, red dot, ncstar 3x9 scope, bulldog rifle case. Have about 2k rounds through it. Thanks for the input.

I recently sold mine for $475 shipped. Mine had less rounds through it but similar accessories...

FWIW, Dunhams Sporting Goods has been selling basic GSG5s (not GSG522!) for well under $400.00; $379.??. Guess Dunhams scarfed up the last of the stockpile from a wholesaler.

I got a used 1st gen yesterday for $299 w/ 4 mags. I think the prices will slowly creep up a couple hundred bucks or so on the original gens but they're not there yet.

thanks for the feedback. Not sure I want to part with it yet, but really wanted an AR-15 in .22LR so I have the same platform / controls as my AR, but cheaper to shoot.

I have a 5p and a 5pk from back before the lawsuit. I paid almost $500 each for them, so I guess I need to wait to sell them so the prices can catch up.
Both are brand-new in the box and case respectively. I've never even taken them out .
I haven't been watching the prices, so either I got screwed originally, or they dropped in price after they first came out.

I paid 275+ship for my 1st gen 1yr special edition (not sure of any real diff) with 3 mags, scope rail and red dot.

Drop in conversion kit... $150 and you're rocking with the exact same setup!

why sale it do you llke it?

if so

get you the 22 conversion kit for the AR15 costs 150 bucks comes with real size mags fitted for 22lr. and only thing you change is the bolt carrier group. takes 5 secs to convert it over. i got one shot thousands of rounds through it, works great and very in expensive for a conversion.get that for your AR and keep both guns. but it you wanna sell it let me know.

if your so hell bound on selling it ill give 250 for it so you can go buy the conversion drop in for your AR15.

How are the conversion kits? Any concern on barrel damage or wear on the chamber? Which one to get. Btw - I really enjoy the gsg. It's a blast to shoot and pretty accurate. Thanks for the input.

the one i got works great. i got it about a year ago at a gun show for like 125. as far as barrel damage, none that me or my dad have seen, (hes a gun smith BTW) he told me it would be fine. The .22 is just a hair smaller than the .223. Most people say the bullet would bounce down the barrel since its smaller. But my dad told me that the .22's lead would swell into the rifling and fly true. Mine is just as accurate as my .223 out to about 75yds. As far as chamber none there either, with the kit you get a new bolt carrier and magazine that fits the .22.

NYsurfer, I have been seeing original GSG5s in various trim going for $400-$450 retail locally. Hope that helps.
