First the bolt hold open seems to get stuck. When that happens I have to use a flat head screw driver to push it down to get the bolt forward. It fires fine until a empty mag pushes the hold back up. I guess I could remove the hold open. Any other suggestions? You would think there would be a spring to apply downward pressure but there is not one.

Second the rifle seems to shoot a little high. I put in the tallest front post and still a little high. Are there rear sights the adjust for hight?
Thanks!!

There should be a spring on the bolt catch. It's really easy to loose when you take the rifle apart. As for the shooting high could it be your sight picture? I had to switch to the tallest post as well but that put it right on.

After some googling you are 100% correct on the spring. I dont know where it went. I dont even remember it coming out. Oh well. they sell a replacement parts kit

.. I got the site picture centered up like a AR so the front round site post sheild forms a perfect halo with the rear sights and I hold at a 6 oclock position on the target. its not high by much but maybe one inch at 25 yards. Ill practice some more. maybe i am not holding it right... First time using a HK style drum sight.
