I had this...

Today, I have this...

And everyone that says you need to keep your primer location absolutely free of powder or you'll break it....Is right.

I broke it at round number 40. The good news is that apparently they're used to this and gladly send the parts out to fix it. I like the machine so far. Takes a little getting used to but once you do it does alright.

Nice bench. Just make sure the beer shows up after the work is done.

I would stain the bench then slap on some polyurathane to oil, solvent, lube, etc won't soak into the wood. It'll resist
water stains from the beer too

+ 1 on the stain. I had some leftover from another project and wanted to use it up i used it on my bench, then put a coat of varnish on it. Made it slick as glass, and water and stain resistant

.40,.45, .223,.308, 22-250 and 300WinMag are the main calibers. I bought the progressive mainly for the 223 and 308. I can really go through the ammo on those things. Hope your quest to become a Tarheel is going well.

Just WHAT did you break by not keeping your "primer location absolutely free of powder"???

The primer slide. The powder held the seating pin up and when I pushed on the lever the slide tried to move backward and only part of it did. If you feel something odd with the AP, stop and figure it out. The customer service lady was very nice and apologized for my troubles. She knows I'm stupid.
